The Keyless Shop at Columbus Eastland Mall,
Not just a place to get a house key made. While you can get a house keys cut here, The Keyless Shop is so much more. There is a long history of this key shop in the Columbus area. The Key Shop was originally built in 1968 just outside of Sears and was known as the Sears Key Shop owned by Things Remembered Inc. It remained owned by Things Remembered and leased out from Sears until 2014.
In 2014 ownership was transferred to its new operator The Keyless Shop at Sears. To keep up with the times, new services were added, transponder keys aka “chip” keys, smart keys and remotes, keyless entry, car keys and laser cut car keys along with lockout services are now available.
With the closure of Sears, The Keyless Shop has moved locations. The Keyless Shop is still located at Eastland Mall but is now on the other side, near the mall’s food court entrance. The Keyless Shop has its own entrance and is now in a larger space than before, enabling the carrying of more stock to better serve its customers.
Part of the new services is a lockout service. If keys are locked in the vehicle or if keys are completely lost to a vehicle, a technician can be dispatched and come to you, to either just open the vehicle or make a new key that can be cut by code and programmed to the vehicle.
What vehicle keys does The Keyless Shop carry? Well, almost everything. A large majority of all makes and models on the market today. The list of vehicle car keys that cannot be done is much shorter. The Keyless Shop is constantly upgrading equipment and has an ever-growing list of vehicles that keys can be cut and programmed.
