Where can I get a Remote Starter for my Car?

Where can I get a Remote Starter for my Car?

How much does it cost to get a remote start in my car? Will a remote start work on my car? How does it work? Will a remote start harm my car? Can The Keyless Shop install remote start on my car?

The answers to these questions are...yes and no.  The Keyless Shop doesn’t recommend you install an aftermarket remote starter because they tend not to be very reliable and usually have problems in the near future.  Most car remote starters fail within the first year and you are out the $250-$750 you paid for it, depending on the quality remote start system you choose to install.

There are many different remote start systems to chose from and thus makes it difficult for many places to do or replace. It is also quite time consuming to do. Although, places that install car stereos will install the car start system. We believe you would be better off getting a vehicle that has a remote start put on by the factory. Most late model General Motors Cars have factory remote start, this we can program to your car, most remotes with remote start are only $75 at The Keyless Shop.

Factory remotes with remotes start are recommended because if anything goes wrong with it it can easily be replaced by a dealer or at The Keyless Shop where it will take less time do and cost less too!

If you do have an existing aftermarket remote starter that is giving you problems come to The Keyless Shop and we can deactivate your aftermarket remote start.  Usually if your remote start / alarm stops working you will know because every time you open the car door you set the alarm off, what a head ache!
